The Art Design International, or ADI, approach to ergonomic seating is based on the principle of passive adjustment. ADI believes that a chair should adjust itself to the body of the person sitting on it. This approach is embodied in the patented suspension technique ADI has been using in the making of their chairs since 1988.
Every ADI chair is manufactured using a highly ergonomic system developed by ADI featuring braided polyethylene straps stretching over a tubular steel frame. This construction technique ensures comfort, lightness, and well being by enabling one to literally float in ADI chairs with no contact against hard surfaces.
ADI seating is not only comfortable and functional but also stylish and attractive. ADI offers a wide array of fabric choices that allow their seating to be customized to any decorative preference or professional environment.
ISO 9002 certified since 1996, ADI products carry a manufacturer's lifetime warranty on the steel structure, suspension bolts, base, mechanism, casters, and gas cylinder. Everest and Marathon chairs have a five year warranty on all parts. There is a five year warranty against wear from normal use on ADI fabrics.
